I needed a simplified version of the TerraFit food points for our fitness challenge that a could reference quickly. It doesn't have all the specifics but it's something I can look at when making decisions on what I eat. It's something I plan to print out and put on my fridge to remind me what I should be putting in my body - real, healthful food.

As members offer or look for answers, kindly understand that essential oils work to help to bring the body into balance - thus helping the body's natural defenses to restore homeostasis. We love it when members share their own stories of healing and wellness with us. Here are some photos of how one member shared dōTERRA Helichrysum Essential Oil with a friend who suffered from painful varicose veins. What an amazing difference! Her recipe? She mixed 50 drops of Helichrysum in 8 ounces of an all-natural lotion base and applied it to her legs for six weeks. Another member shared this recipe: In 2 oz of Coconut Oil add 30 drops Cypress, 20 drops Lavender, 10 drops of any citrus Essential Oil (like Wild Orange). Apply morning and night, massaging oils into skin moving towards the heart. You will begin to see results in approximately one month! Helichrysum and Cypress help with movement of lymph and exchange stagnant blood for new blood by constricting and dilating the blood vessels. This strengthens the vascular cell wall so they can regain elasticity and do the job they're designed to do! The citrus oil helps reduce fluid retention and the Lavender, among other things, binds all these actions together. Note, that if you're going to be out in the sun after application, leave out the citrus oil to avoid intensifying the effects of the sun. BONUS: Cypress is also good for cellulite.

What you'll need: Two small bowls/containers Castille soap or baby shampoo Vinegar Melaleuca (tea tree) essential oil Lavender essential oil In the first container put 3 drops of melaleuca and a small amount of Castile soap or baby shampoo then fill 3/4 full with water. I prefer Castile soap because it doesn't contain harmful chemicals and parabens. Melaleuca has been used for centuries for its cleansing properties. It is antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral. In the second container put 3 drops of lavender and then fill 3/4 full with vinegar. Vinegar is also antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral. Lavender has antibacterial and antiviral properties and will leave your brushes smelling nice as an added bonus. Now you're ready to clean your brushes! First rinse off any excess paint or makeup from your brush. Next, gently swish your brush around in the soap and melaleuca mixture. Rinse off the brush while gently separating the bristles. Once your brush is clean rinse it in the vinegar and lavender mixture. Then lay it flat to dry so that moisture doesn't get down into the ferrule of the brush. |
